About The Gamma Brief
A daily intelligence system for SPX options traders who want a clear answer before the open.
What It Is
The Gamma Brief delivers a single daily signal — GO, CAUTION, or WAIT — designed for SPX options traders running credit spreads, iron butterflies, and other premium-selling strategies. It's built for pre-market preparation and end-of-day review, not real-time alerts.
The Experiment
The Gamma Brief is an ongoing experiment in AI-driven market intelligence. The goal: leverage a layered generative AI pipeline to reliably capture live market data, economic events, and structural mechanics — then distill it all into accurate, actionable briefings delivered before the open, after the close, and ahead of each week.
How It Works
Morning Report (~6:45 AM ET): Before the open, automated systems pull overnight market data, economic calendar events, and real-time news context. An AI analyzes this to produce the GO/CAUTION/WAIT signal and a written brief explaining the rationale.
During the Day: Traders use the signal as a filter for entry decisions. Trades are logged directly in the dashboard with visual confirmation.
Evening Report (~6:45 PM ET): After the close, a second report recaps session behavior, validates the morning's regime call, and sets context for the next day.
Saturday Preview: A weekly macro report is generated Saturday morning for positioning ahead of the week.
Under The Hood
Each morning, automated systems pull overnight market data, economic calendar events, volatility structure, gamma exposure regime, and real-time news context. Multiple AI models cross-validate the analysis before producing the final signal and narrative brief. Each evening, the system reviews the day's action against the morning forecast — a built-in accuracy feedback loop.
Why It's Built This Way
All analysis is pre-generated before market open — no live API calls when you load the page. Fast loads, consistent data, no surprises mid-session. Premium-selling strategies reward preparation over speed, and that philosophy drives every design decision.
It's a system that's still evolving, and early adopters have been essential to shaping it. If you have ideas on how to make it better, we want to hear them — send us your feedback.
